Hay there anyone who still visits..........there is no excuse for not posting so ill just make up for it with lots of pages, projects and photos.
The annual photo with santa...i just love the blue back ground...better than red if you ask me.

Things have been pretty busy but still no excure i havnt been doing that much scrapping lately here are my latest 3 pages...well besides my BUZZ AND BLOOM pages.

I have been busy with the buzz and bloom dt and engagement parties and work and chris working lat and well just life in general and now with christmas just around the corner...so excited....it will get busyier and busyier (sp?).

I created this page for the october buzz and bloom product release i used the acrylic fat albert alpha, the acrylic fruit salad and the chipboard lava lamp strip. All new release products.

They are fantastic. Helene and Divorah have out done themselves this time with a new release of products for spring. They were released at paperiffic on Friday and the response was fantastic. We all love the chipboard creations Buzz and Bloom have designed well now they have released a whole range of coloured acrylic embellishments, alphas and book covers. Here are a few sneek peeks of some of the products that i have used.

I was very excited to have some of my own designs accepted for the spring release.

WOW it was so amazing being Sarah's support person for the birth of little Caitlyn Melissa Heron. Sarah was so brave and it all went so quick she ended up having a Caesar after 90 minutes of contractions and the baby's head not engaging properly...her first labor was 36 hours and she ended up having a Caesar anyway there was no way i was going to let that happen to her again so i got in the nurses ear as soon as they thought she might need a Caesar and within half an hour Baby Caitlyn was delivered.

It was amazing and i was so grateful to be there for Sarah. We have been friends for 16 years and she was there for Coby's birth and it was so wonderful sharing the experience with her.

Sorry it has been so long in between posts!

Life is just flat out at the monent but i do have some awesome news to share.................

Chris and i had the most romantic weekend for our 5 year anniversary. We stayed in stkilda at the Urban hotel where we have stayed for our first date and also for our 3 year anniversary. It has a king size bed and a double spa at the end of the bed. the Hotel is amazing it is about 6 years old and so modern.

We got there at 4 and went for a walk up Fitzroy st then sat and had a yummy dinner. Then we headed off on a tram for the footy to see hawthorn. It was great game. then we walked back to flinders street and Chris insisted we go on a ride on a horse and carriage. CHRIS NEVER INSISTS ON ANYTHING!!!!!! So off we go in the back of a horse and carriage. Then Chris and i start chatting about how much we love each other and he pulls out this

YES I AM ENGAGED!

It was sooo sweet and so romantic without being too cheesy. We then caught a tram back to the hotel and had a spa and well................................ :)

The next morning we got up had another spa and had breaky at out hotel and the had a walk around the city.

It was a perfect weekend and i just feel like the luckiest person i know.....I'm so excited.

One thing that has surprised me is that we are planning a wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was happy to have a long engagement but Chris is happy to get married on out 6 year anniversary next year. I'm happy to go along with that. We think we have already decided on a venue for the engagement party and the wedding and it is only Tuesday!

It is so awesome to be moving onto this new stage in Chris and my relationship and Chris is really excited and I'm not used to seeing him like that so it is wonderful i just can't wipe the smile off of my face.

I was looking on eBay for dog collars and came across the cutest Dog jumpers from the UK i ordered 2 and ended up paying $33.80 Australian dollars. What great value have a look at the petitude online store here
Chuck isn't the biggest fan of his new jumper but he will get used to it. Great photos to scrap!

Chuck was sitting having a rest on my desk last night he was so cute well that was until i started painting and he started barking at my paintbrush....well his version of a bark anyway :) And now as i try to type he is up on my desk with me again barking and attacking my hands. Gotta Love playful Puppy's.

Well we finally have Chuck at home with us.
I picked him up on thursday and he has been so good, toilet training is challenging we are ontop of it making sure we take him to his training absorbant pads when he needs to 'go'. He has had only 2 #1 accidents on the carpet and that is just because we havn't gotten to him in time. It is just too cold and wet to be toilet training him for outside being that he is soo timy.
Night times are a bit of a pain he was in with chris and i for the first 2 nights then in his dog carrier on my bedside table last night. I had to keep putting my hand in through the zip of the carrier so he could feel me then when he was settled moving it out. I am up with him 2 or 3 times a night for the toilet. Yes hard work but so worth it.
I can imagine you all thinking . . .harder than a newborn baby i can imagine you all thinking but it really isnt.

We decided not to make him sleep in the laundry bacause we are spending so much time hugging him all day it's not fair to just dump him in the laundry of a night......that's not fair on him. His little bark is so cute sounds like a squeeky toy and he has been having fun chewing chris' arm and hand and he seems to like snuggling riht up in my neck......he really likes hair.
My house feels like a home again no longer empty. Yes i still think about Pip every day and i have to admit when i had Chuck in my arms after i pucked him up i did shed a few tears. I know he will never be the Dog pip was and that is ok he is CHUCK a sweet cuddly boy puppy with a very timid personality.

ME!

It was my birthday last friday and yes im 28 it sounds so young to be honest i don't wanna be in my 20's anymore. No im not wishing my life away i just don't like being in my 20's i being in my 30's sounds more exciting to me...i know the exact opposite to the NORM people usually fear being 30 but i can't wait!

I had my hair done....it was well overdue and i am so happy i did. It's darker than usual which is a nice change.

I just wanna get my hands on them all.

Ok i have been scrapping i was inspired to tidy my scrap room then inspired to create something for my wall. I have been finding my scrap room very uninspiring so i created this.....

I just love it. I clip my fave photos and other inspiring things here i have to admit it worked i have actually started scrapping again and i have so many ideas i just need more time.

I also moved my wooden ikea draws infront of where i work this has created a small shelf and also closes in the annoying gap between my desk and the wall. My work space is an L shape and it is soooo heavy chris mates tried to move it flush with the wall but it just wouldn't happen....this has worked out ok because now i need more draws and this means a trip to ikea.....can't wait for that spending spree all i need now is $ :) Here is a photo of my frame peg board that also hands in my scarp room i sorted this out too and im pleased with the result......i have loads of stuff to sell on ebay now....just need to get that setup.

With all of the tidying up i created this page. I love the october afternoon paper ranges and craft cardstock backgrounds.

The Page is based on cobys line 'what you said' he says this instead of saying what did you say. I used to correct him for saying it and now it has turned in to a private joke between us. He does have the best sense of humor

***********OK EXCITING PUPPY NEWS*********

I have to share with everyone our newest ALMOST family member.

MEET CHUCK we can pick him up in 2 weeks and i am so excited he is so tiny and so sweet. He looks like a giant in the photo but look at the size of his head compared to the ladies hand.

Knowing that we are going to have a new puppy in the house has helped with the grieving process a lot....we all still miss pip and i think chris has his reservations about a new pup he says because of the $ factor but i think he is also scared of getting attached again when pip got hit by the car and when we lost her it really got to him and it is tough for him because he had pretended for so long that he didn't 'love' her i think because she was a girly pup and not a big tough dog like most guys want. But he knows in the end i really need this and as a family we aren't the same without a puppy.

IM SO EXCITED!

Does anyone out there that reads my blog know how to knit and follow knitting pattens? I have found some sweet dog jumpers and was wondering if anyone would be interested in making one for chuck if i provide the wool and some $.....not sure what people would charge either. Please let me know if you can help. Here is one of the jumpers. OBVIOUSLY NOT BOY COLOURS ! i would be happy with a solid colour if it was easier.

Coby has been sick for the first week of the school hols he has a pretty good cold but i has started to break now so he is on the mend. Im glad he got sick now when i had organised a week off work. He has been hanging out in my bed watching TV, eating cookies and drinking hot lemon drink. YES LOTS OF CRUMBS IN MY BED!!!!!!!

We have also ben hanging out at mum's house a bit with hailey and baby ella who is growing....well slowly she had bronchitis and was in hospital for a week and is now putting weight back on she is still tiny though.
Coby and bailey had a crafty afternoon on tuesday at mum's house. Kellie gave me an alien craft kit with lots of bits and pieces so the boys sat for over an hour......which is great for them especially with no arguing.

We went to see disney on ice on friday it was awesome i had a ball and coby loved it. He was amazed about the story of the little mermaid so when we got home we went and hired it and he has seriously watched it 3 times in less than 24 hours he loves it...i have to admit it is a great kids dvd for a cold morning in bed.

They were purchased about 2 months ago and coby is just not into them.

Great games i don't understand why he just likes what he like i guess......

They are in perfect condition each has seriously been played only about 3 times.

How are your school holidays so far? I have the first week off and the first day has been great. We went swimming today, morning t at nic's tomorrow and disney on ice on friday. Im hoping to get a bit of a sleep in on a few of these days too.

The Past few weeks have been pretty busy with the debling weekend away and well just life being life everyone i know seems to be busy and the miserable winter weather is making it so much harder to get motivated!
Chris and I went to My nephew Matty's 50th Footy game the other week. It was a freezing Cold Foggy day.

i went to the movies on sat. I took coby and bailey to see an advance screening of Kung Foo Panda...you have to go see it especially if like me you LOVE jack black. It was so funny and there was absolutely NO boring bits. Other than that my weekend has been really laid back...gotta love quiet weekends.

I have been looking very closely at getting one of these bags for my camera you can find them here.

You can purchase different Flaps so you can change the look of your bag and also purchase matching camera straps. They have the most amazing fabrics so you can make the bag really suit your personal style!

Cobys new Shoes.....shoes are one thing i do splurge on for coby i like him to have skate shoes they are more expensive but they are so cool and they wear so well....if they get dirty i just put them in the washing machine with towels and they come up new. These are so cool i had them ordered in especially from the local surf shop.

What a great weekend

WOW Did i scrap.......

I also ate too much laughed a lot and had an amazingly relaxing weekend.

This is the first Page i scrapped for the weekend

I love this pic of coby and i and im so pleased with the way that the page turned out.

I have found myself scrapping differently lately, earthy tones and simple pages that don't take away from the photos. Im loving these SEI Dill blossom papers

I love this shot i Got of Pip and the Dog next door through the back fence. I had a mini photo shoot with pip 3 days before we had her put down and im glad that i captured this shot as she always had her nose through the fence to see what the puppy next door was doing.

This Page of steel is so simple but it is exactly how i wanted it to look. Im loving the MM jack and ella collections at the moment. Im also in love with these collections owls so fun to cover.I actually scrapped this page the week before i left for the retreat, Baby Steel's album is coming along nicely.

I have had this idea to scrap this shot of coby using the love elsie papers for a while now but hadn't got around to it. It was a quick page to scrap but i love it.This is one of my fave pages for the weekend. I got a bit deep with the journaling which is why i think it has taken me so long to actually scrap this photo. Another Collections owl....love them...well i actually love covering chipboard and layering it at the moment. I purchased this ribbon on the weekend (green vine looking thing) and im so in love with it. I need more in different colours.

JOURNALING READS

"I'm not sure how much coby remembers about his grannie annie. He was only 2 when she passed away.He often talks about her and seems to remember her through the things that she has bought him. He also talk about her being a star in the sky especially when it is a clear night sky and the stars are out. He talks about how Pippa is keeping her lap warm up in the sky. Most of all coby remembers his granny annie when he puts on the scarf she made him. I remember this exact night when i went into cobys bedroom and there he was sound asleep with his scraf around his neck.It upsets me that Coby won't get to grow up knowing his grannie annie but it is great that her remembers her through there special items."

One thing that i realised over the weekend is that i need more ink pads, it is so much easier to ink chipboard than paint it i seriously didn't paint anything all weekend. Credits go to Vicky and Jody for letting me use their inks all weekend.

There are a few more pages that i scrapped but ill leave them for another time as they will be posted on the BUZZ AND BLOOM SITE SOON

She is sooo sweet and sooo tiny

Hailey my cousin is going very well.

It seems to bring back so many memories about having a newborn that you forget about or erase. :)

I remember Coby being such a hard baby to settle, such a terrible sleeper, i remember hating breast feeding, i remember just sitting staring at him, i remember having to manage every single minure effectively so i could take every opportunity to rest,i remember holding him so tight in my arms and never wanting to let him go.

It is so hard adjusting to life as a new mum especially a first mum.......driving blind. Just hope i can help her when she need it.

I made this sign for Hailey to display at her window if Ella and her are resting and don't want to be bothered.

My sister and I seem to be doing all of te bothering though!

A Few Pages to Share

The first one is one a have been playing with for the past few days just couldn't get it how i wanted it so i chopped down the 12x12 cardstock to 8.5x11 and quickly finisghed it. I really don't like agonising over pages for longer tha a few days if i have ideas in my head.

Need VS Want.............

I am always faced with this question especially when it comes to scrapbooking....
What is a need? What is a want?
I could pretty much argrue and turn ant want into a need but after 5 years chris knows me pretty well and convinces me otherwise. Ultimately i hate waiting for anything my grandma was the same she always wanted everything yesterday, and she usually got it ...well a day too late but she got it. My mum is excat same and so am i.
Here are some of my Wants and Needs at the Moment

Number one......NEED a new puppy, i have a week off in 5 weeks and hopefully we will have a new family member then.

well hello there everyone

I have had so much fun over the past few weeks playing with the new buzz and bloom products. They are amazingly awesome to work with and so funky. Make sure you keep an eye on the Buzz and Bloom blog for daily updates and inspiration. ill share a sneak peak with you.

This is my first project using the new B&B products this is one of my faves!
It tied in with the new scenic route grafton papers and gave me the opportunity to use some photos i took of coby last year at a trout farm.

Things at home are good coby's arm is doing well we have another trip to the hospital tomorrow for more x-rays which ill scan and share tomorrow.

I have been scrapping up a storm lately but not many LO to share but I'm so inspired to create i just need to unpack my car from Saturday crop with ruey and the girls...slack i know.

I had a great Day with Ruey,Mich, Vita and Jorja. They were so lovely and even though i couldn't stay as long as i had wanted i still had a ball. It was great to scrap with a different group of lady's and also watching mich and ruey compare their stash of AC thickers i swear those girls are set as far as alphas go.
I also had a play with some of rueys stampin up products they are great definitely added to my NEED list.

Finally An Update..............

Firstly i would like to thank everyone that sent their best wishes after loosing Pip. Whether is was via, phone, email or in person i really appreciated it.

Well i would like to report that i am feeling much better but unfortunately I'm not.

I really dislike being home at the moment the house is so empty without my girl following me around. I am so surprised her death has effected me they way it has but ultimately she was mt daughter and a massive part of my life i still open the door when i get home and wait for her to come up to me. I still go to open the back door to let her out. I still head down the dog food isle at the supermarket and every nigh i still go to get her bed and pop it beside mine.

I miss my girl terribly.

For those of you who don't know here are the details...........

in between Christmas and new years pip was hit by a 4wd. she broke both sides of her pelvis and had surgery to put plates and screws in her pelvis. she had severe nerve damage in her toes so she didn't use her back right leg. A few weeks ago she begun using her leg just when she was standing and walking. she was the same little 'pippa' but just got tired easily and couldn't jump...not always a bad thing :)Then last week we noticed she wasn't herself and seemed constipated. we took her into the vet where she was admitted to have xrays and an aenema (spelling?). They called later that day to say the aenema wasn't working and that Dr Charles kuntz from highett was happy to operate to remove the faecies but might have to remove and replace the plates costing $3000 and the problem was more than likely going to happen again. So the tough decision was made and i feel terrible.

Well there you go.

You would think that i had had my fair share of bad luck well you are certainly wrong.

Coby spent 2 nights at his granddads house last weekend and chris and i were sitting in a cafe enjoying breakfast when i got a phone call from coby's granddad, coby had fell on the skateboard ramp on his scooter and looks like he has a broken wrist. when it rains.................

So chris and i headed down to wonthaggi to see coby and we were told that he needs to be put to sleep to but his wrist growth plates back in the correct place. However we needed to drive to dandenong for this to be done. So off we go in the car with coby delirious from his pain relief and drive from wonthaggi to dandenong. Cobys was so funny he was insisting it was his lucky day because he was getting stickers and bravery awards WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So off we headed to dandenong where coby slept for 30minutes but was in good spirits while he was awake. If was a little difficult for him because he had to be put under anesthetic he had to fast....try telling that to a 5yo boy when you pass a MacDonald's or kfc every 5 minutes. And yes coby having to fast meant we all had to fast as a family.

Ultimately he was pretty good in pain but not too upset.

We got to dandenong and they were apparently expecting us well that's what the wonthaggi doctor had told us but no they werent and we had to go through the whole emergency procedures again even though we had xrays done and a referral apparently when it rains it HAILS! I was so annoyed so after sitting in emergency for another 30 minutes ready to explode i approached a triage nurse and explained the situation...all the while i still hadn't cried..tough mummy!

The nurse was lovely and was concerned that his pain medication would wear off soon and took us through. Things went pretty quick from there and we met the orthopedic surgeon and she had him booked in for surgery for 10:30 and we could move to the children's ward and would have to spend the night.

We eventually went for surgery at 11pm and coby woke up at 3am STARVING. He still had to wait a few hours for food but his arm was in plaster up to his shoulder and he wasn't is as much pain as we was.

Eventually after me sleeping for about an hour and coby sleeping about 6 hours coby woke up pretty perky and had breakfast and a 11am we were discharged. YAY

On the way home we stopped at McDonald's and got coby chips, a burger and nuggets and a drink he scoffed the lot and slept the rest of the way home. We got home and coby slept for another hour and i slept for 3 while chris stayed up and catered to coby's every need.

What a DAY!

We seem to have the worst Luck!

WARNING this post will be very photo heavy!

Coby is really getting into drawing and writing at the moment. Here is a picture he drew last week at school it is the 3 billy goats gruff and the troll bridge. I just love how he has made the billy goats 3 different sizes and the luittle flowers down the bottom. Coby has also been bringing home home work sheets and spent an hour the other night on a easter colouring competition. Coby ha s always had good concentration but has never really been interested in drawing or writing which has been cool by me because he is a boy and as long as there is a tiny interest in drawing and he has a good attempt at his name and recognises some letters im happy. Coby has also been really hard on himself and wants his letters to look the same as mine and his pictures to look 'perfectly' recognisable. Check out his upside down b and y! BTY the troll was drawn on the reverse side of the page. See below.

We have had a good easter so far we went to see the monster trucks in cranbourne on friday night and on saturday night we went to sandy point (near wilsons prom) for the night and i got lots of lovin from these to beautiful girls.

Lilly and India they are so sweet and you never hear a peep out of them. I forgot who is who :)

Ronelle and i were being clever telling them apart all weekend because india had a scratch on her nose, well now i can't see a scratch at all so im stuck for telling them apart. :)

Coby and Xavier had an easter egg hunt sunday morning......the first real one coby has ever done (bad mum i know) the kids had a ball and plenty of eggs for breakfast. We/Easter bunny got coby a footy jumper for easter after his dad choosing collingwood as his team from before he was even born coby last year decided that he wanted his team to be the tigers thats cool by me even though i have spent many car trips teaching him the hawthorn theme song. Coby isn't a big chocolate fan he will eat a bit but im sure that the eggs will stay in his basket for 30 days before chris and i take free reign and consume them all. :)

The holiday house we stayed in was very nice really modern and all recently renovated. I will surely be going back there again with bree and chris and their kiddies. Ronelle and steve were also there it was such a relaxing few days i really enjoyed myself. Ill finish the post with some photos of the egg hunt.

Hello everyone

i would like to say that i have been busy doing really important and fun things over the past few weeks so that was why i haven't posted in such a long time but the reality is that besides one of my besties wedding and mel being home from london and bianca giving birth i haven't really been doing much at all.

Now for some photo and LO shares

This week one of my best mated bianca....remember the awesome photos from about 3 posts ago of her pregnant tummy....well she had babe steel graeme nash on Thursday. He was a tiny 6 pound 13 ounces and he is very sweet.

Also last weekend i attended Nic and Dan's wedding The day was absolutely perfect. There was a small sun shower during the ceremony but it added something special. Below is a Photo that the amazingly talented KATIE TOLAND took at the wedding. Nicola was such a beautiful bride.

and here is little O in his suit he was the perfect little page boy.We all had so much fun at the wedding it was such a great atmosphere and i couldn't believe it that the winery that hosted the wedding had never had one there before. Seriously if you are looking into a place for a function check out ten minutes by tractor in main ridge it is such a spectacular location.

Ok here is a LO i created for the buzz and bloom blog. I just love being on the DT i get given such amazing products to use i feel so lucky. I also love the loveland papers by scenic route they have to be my fave paper company. This pare captures a little private joke thing chris and i have had for a long time now where we compare our love to something we really love ie. 'i love you like sleeping in' or 'i love you like a cold beer after work', you get what i mean!':)

Have you been here lately?

Today is my turn to share my mini book that i created for my first monthly assignment. The pictures are a little small not sure what happened but ill share the front cover here today and the rest of the pages in another post. So head over to the buzz and bloom blog and have a look.

Ill quickly share some photos of my big school boy.

He has d0ne so well. His first day was on friday the 1st of feb and this week was his first full week. He did get a little tired and precious towards the end of the week but he has enjoyed himself and is very disapointed on weekends that he doesn't bet to go.

He looked at some of these photos on my camera and said 'i look so big mum, i look like a work man'.Andhe is so right he does look so big. Chris and i dropped him off and picked him up for his first day i was so greatful to be able to start work late and finish early.

Last tuesday by boy turned 5!!!!

Wow i never thought it would floor me that way it has. 5 is BIG

I have never really been effected by another of coby's birthdays before now he was just another year older, growing big etc. But this birthday WOW!

I think i might have something to do with the fact that 2 and a half weeks after his birthday he will be starting SCHOOL and to me that is really big. I am welcoming school yes sure i will shed a few tears on the first day and i really don't want him growing up this fast but i can't wait for school! Bring on the routine, the stability and bring on the new phase in all of our lives.

Coby is so excited we took him to buy his new school clothes on his birthday to add to the excitement and it is just so amazing. He has grown up over the holidays and has besome more mature and settled in his skin. We havn't really done that much and i think that it has benefited him greatly. He isn't coming and going too and from kinder creche, grandmas house, dad's house etc. it has been really settled and it shows.

He also hasn't been staying at his dad's house or seeing him for that matter(long story) for over a month now and i think the consistency with Parenting has made all the difference too. He has been spending 3 days at a time with his grandad and he really loves that I think it's the realxed environment and the sea air that has contributed also.

Life is really good at the moment and i cant wait to see what 2008 will bring!

hello everyone! How has 2008 been for you so far?

In between moving, broken dogs, christmas and having tonsillitis i have created some invites.Thought i would share them with you!

. . . well that's what i told pip anyway. She totally hates it the poor girl. She has been licking her stitches when chris and i leave her home alone so to prevent infection she has her 'elizabethan collar'. (fancy name i thought they were just called lamp shades!)

We are so proud of her progress she is up and stumbling around, she isn't using her right back leg which is a bit of a concern but she seems happy enough...well when she doeasn't have her collar on anyway!

Thanks to everyone for your kind words it is great to know there are lots of other crazy dog lovers out there.

A Horrible Horrible Accident. . . .

hay there everyone

sorry about the lack of posts and christmas wishes. I still have no Internet and my scrap room is only 1/2 unpacked :)

Well about this horrible horrible accident.

I went to the video shop on Thursday night and as i Left coby ran out the front door to tell me something. pippa followed him out and as coby was standing on the footpath calling her to come back she was hit by a 4wd which didn't even bother to stop.
Chris picked her up and after getting blood, poo and being bitten by her took her to the vet. She was in so much pain and obviously in shock but just appeared to have a broken leg. She was just sitting quietly until the vet tried to move her and she became all stressed and went to bite the vet nurse. We left shortly after to sit at home and wait for a call. I have never felt so horribly sick. The vet called and reassured us that she would be fine through the night and that they would do further tests in the morning after that had treated her for the initial shock.
That night was horrible and the next morning what no better as i sat and waited for a phone call. When the vet eventually rang he explained that there was a concern for her bladder and that further tests were needed to make sure that it was in tact. He also had a concern for her pelvis. She has a broken pelvis but it is on each side. So after discussing $ and giving him more permission to do more tests i hung up and had another melt down. If you had told me that i would be this effected by a 'dog' 2 years a go i would have argued black and blue that it is just a pet and that there is certainly a $ figure that was TOO much to spend on a 'dog'.
The vet called later and explained that he was sure that her bladder was fine besides a bit of clotting that will heal with time and that we will need to take her for surgery in Highett on Monday where she will spend a few nights to recover. He is confident that after the surgery she will recover well but wont run as fast or jump as high as she used to.
So after a call to the vet this morning to see how my girl was the vet explained that her urine had less blood and that they will remove the catheter today and continue to monitor her and give her IV fluids all weekend. He explained that she is a comfortable as she could be and that she will be right for surgery on Monday.
It has been horrible not having Pip following me around the house and constantly sitting on my lap but i know she will eventually be ok.
So the moral issue of the week is do you put $ before your pet? Is she just a Pet? and How much is too much to spend on your 'pet'? Also how would i explain it to coby when him being a 5yo boy already thinks pets are expendable ('when my fish dies can i get a Mexican walking fish')
People constantly splurge on luxuries like cars, computers, holidays, renovations, and also spend money on things like their children's braces, glasses and private school fees. It gets you thinking is this different? and how is this different? and is at a viable expense?
I'm truly interested in your opinion even though i have made my decision and that i am happy with it. What would you do?

Movember!!!!!!!!

Yes i survived the monthe of "mo"vember...only just. That thing above his lip was foul! :)

We were both surprised at how much of a mo he actually grew chris seemed pretty proud of himself he had never been able to grow that much facial hair before now.

We had a visitor on sunday.....

Chris' dog Degan came to visit us from chris' parents house. He is so big compared to pippa and he has been bought up to be inside atot of the time and that is the main reason he doesn't live at our house. He looks so big and strong but he is so dumb. He just looks at pip and doesn't know what to do with her. I has playing fetch withn pip and he had no idea what to do so he just kept bowling pip over. :)

Hope everyone is getting organised for christmas! Im nearly there!

Deb form Debling in Design has asked me to create some LO for he to be sold as kits of for classes. The website is up and running have a look here and also here for upcoming classes and crops.

these Lo will be available as kits for a class (date to be scheduled soon) or if you busy simple just purchase the kit with instructions! Bot LO's are 81/2 by 11 inch but they can be easily converted to 12 by 12.

I have been busy lately with the new job and packing for our move but i am still taking my 365 day shots just not sharing them as much as i should be. I have also been busy creating LO for a design team application which i have had so much fun doing my scrapping MOJO is definitely here to stay. I will be so rapped if i get it. It is for a great Australian supplier who have awesome products that i have fell in love with.
I got my hands on the KI memories laced cardstock the other week and have used it twice already. LOVE IT!
Hopefully i can share more Lo's soon and some 365 day shots.

Life is good!

WOW i haven't felt this way for a while and i stress about putting this into writing because i don't wanna jinx myself.

I started a new job on Monday. I am now officially the Cook at coby's child care centre and it is great.

The hours are 8 to 2 everyday which will be great for next year when coby starts school because i will be able to pic him up every day.

The job can be a little frantic but I'm getting myself into a routine and i am really enjoying it. It is a great place to work and the other staff are great and my boss is awesome really understanding, family orientated and laid back. It hasn't really hit me yet that i have a stable income coming in now but in sure with the first pay cheque it will.

Coby loves me being at his creche and popped in to say hi a couple of times and also came in for an ice pack . . . . something to do with a fight over a truck! That's life!

I wasn't sure how coby would go with me being there but i explained to him that when he is at creche his teacher is the boss and he is so cool with it.

So yes life is good.

Coby had his first school orientation day last Friday and loved it. I finally think he is getting out of his whiny stage that he was going through....thank god for that!

Don't ask me why he is at the back BEHIND all the others. I asked him why he was standing there and he said that is where the teacher told him to stand! Whatever!

So did anyone back a winner in the cup yesterday?

Im sorry to say that chris and i had no luck. We decided to have a little BBQ which was great to just sit back and relax with friends.

I had a lovely day with Ruey on friday. It was great to sit and have a chat. Ruey did my nails which looked awesome but im sad to say ther they don't look that good ATM. I am shocking at having polish on my nails i tend to pick at it once it starts chipping.

I had a great day at jody's house on saturday. Jody held a 10 to 10 (4am) crop at her house which saw us drink approx 10 bottles of wine and eat way too much but it was all really yummy. We spent 1/3 of the time eating 1/3 of the time chatting and the other 1/3 scrapping. Can't wait for the next one.

i enrolled coby into pre prep at hastings primary today 1 hour after i found out they were introducing the program for the first time next year. What a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders.Thursday 15th October...Gotta love a million little things, deliver in 1 week from the us and super cheap prices. Friday 26th october Im my scrapping room before i leave for work.saturday 27th October Washing to be folded...yuckSunday 27th October I wore these out last night and surprisingly they didn't hurt as much as they did for caulfield, i love them more now that i know i can wear them ***note to self *** a few wines takes away the pain of cool shoes that hurt feet! Feeling a little hung over today too many drinks were mixed last night and i should have listened to the little voice that says GO HOME before i entered the last pub. :(Monday 29th October Loving the new james patterson book Double Coss, they are my ultimate favorite booksTuesday 30th October...yes they are red eyes you see. Why you ask? lets just say whenever things been to be going really good someone always seems to shit me.

This LO has a lot of dimension. Some of the strips have 3d dots under them as do the circles and arrows. Im having lots of fun adding dimension to my LO's.

I got this great gel pen the other day and i have had a ball playing with it. See all the little dot's. the pen goes on so easy and that is very difficult to find in a white gel pen.here is a card i created
This is a lo i had a ball doing. I have had these Zoo photos in my stash since january and when i saw the papers and the photo's together i was so glad i had waited. I am addicted to scallpoes atm but i figured you have already guessed that.And a close up.....another addiction doodling i love my gel pens and i find myself doodling on every Lo that i create.

In work news i finally resigned from the 'job from hell' and i have 3 days of worked booked already for next week. YAY. I also have a job interview next tuesday for a child care centre in mornington which sounds great 3 days a week with 9am starts. COULD THINGS BE LOOKING UP FOR ME.

All i need to do now is sort out coby's school for next year and i might be able to relax a little more.

Some Lo to share

I have been looking here recently and was inspired to play with some lo in 6X12 format. It was a nice change and allowed me to have a little play. I am thinking of creating a mini album with Lo all this size.
I used the cherry art papers on this Lo and some thickers i have been hording as well as some new BG hip chip letters. Then i created this using the new elsie papers and some bella chipboard. I started with the left over brown 6x12 paper and punched the scallops shape into the side them just went with it. My scrapping style at the moment really makes me feel like i am creating rather than spending 4 hours procrastinating about creating a perfect LO. The photo is of coby and i in marysville in august.Again with the elsie papers i wanted to follow the theme of the papers and do a 'home' LO. especially because we will be moving out soon and i have NO photo's of our house. This LO has been sitting in my scrap room unfinished for 3 weeks i tend to put a LO together then just leave it sitting waiting to be embellished and stuck down.

I also created some gift bags at scrap and chat at paper doll on thursday. I had fun with them but was over it by the time i got to the 3rd bag. I will be forwarding these to the winners of the pay it forward RAK.

Saturday 15th september This is my new eyeshadow. i finally found one i like YAY

Sunday 16th september making my Curried sausages. It is definitely my favorite thing to cook. You can't go past winter comfort food.

Monday 17th september .Just me in my work clothes in my office.

Tuesday 18th september. Went to bonkers tupperware party. I am a bit in love with tupperware atm! maria the consultant is trying to get me to become a consultant...hum!

Wednesday 19th september. went shopping today!

Thursday 20th september started a new job today......it really isn't the best idea i have had without going into too much detail. I am going to give it 2 weeks and see if it is any better.Friday 21st September My RAK arrived from Vita. How sweet is it!saturday 22nd september. chris' boss gave us a voucher to stay at the casino in a promenade corner room. the view was great and the night was awesome. (apologies to jody for the shot of chris and i kissing i know you think it is gross, i promise you it didn't go further!)

Look closely at chris eyebrow! YES his idiot mates shaved it the other week when chris was drunk and passed out. they do it at least every 6 months they need to grow up if you ask me.

Tuesday 25th september here is coby and i at the melbourne show. We had an awesome day all except for the trains being cancelled and having to catch a tram from the showgrounds to flinders street station standing up with coby on a packed tram. :( Coby was sleeping standing up, only a male could possibly do that!

Wednesday 26th september Yep it is my hand i was having a bad everything day today!Thursday 27th september this is my grandmas necklace. I just love love love it and i miss her so much. Friday 29th september im EXHAUSTED! this job. . . . no im not enjoying it. don't really wanna go into too much detail but it is definitely a 2 out of 10 as far as child care centres i would like to be a part of. There are so many young enthusiastic girls working here that have no idea what kind of centres are out there. SIGH.Saturday 29th september GRAND FINAL DAY it was awesome couldn't pick a favorite shot so here is me posing and kellie and i really drunk. (i know you have seen them all but I'm just keeping the order.)Sunday 30th September we went to rove live tonight. extremely hung over but it was a good night. i was happy when we got to bed though.
Monday 1st October. Wow where has the year gone? stopped into paper doll to chat with wendy today. A bit of scrap therapy. Then home to organise my scrap room and then i visited terry. YAY she is back and is looking awesome.
Here is pip and i.Tuesday 2nd october. It is definitely thong weather. Love my havianas thongs. I bought coby a camo print pair today. He needs to get his thong walking skills back for the summer. Wednesday 3rd october . Feeding Pip another everyday task we all have to do. (i do feed her more than once a day though!)
thursday 4th october. i wagged work today because well....I HATE IT AND I AM RESIGNING. I have been put into a position too many times that could cause alot of problems for me in the long term if accidents were to happen. here i am looking in the classifieds.

Friday 5th october. Look at the washing i need to do. just one of the daily routine tasks that i hate. ill do it tomorrow.saturday 6th october. We all have to shower right. well i can't function without having my morning shower. it is the first thing i do every morning i never walk around in my pj's

Grand Final Day/ROVE/My Scrap room

Grand Final day was awesome.

Chris, Kellie, Malcolm and Berry and i sat at Federation square and watched the game and drank all day which turned out to be a very messy occasion. Kellie and i laughed all day. We payed ZERO attention to the game but made new friends and forgot about everything outside out own little world it was awesome.

y to watch the game and to get away and we ended up 'kidnapping' them and taking them back to mornington. It was so much fun to meet new people and to know that the intentions were honest because kell and i both have partners and the boys knew that.

The boys ended up drinking these super large cans of been called SAPPORO it is an ASIAN beer and the bar was charging $12 a can......i don't think the $ factor made a difference on the day the atmosphere was awesome and we had planned to have a big one. I was dared to drink half beer and half vodka and raspberry it was foul. But in the spirit of the day i did it and got another drink shouted for my efforts. YES I HAD A HUGE HANGOVER ON SUNDAY.

Yes the night is a bit of a blur but hay we never go out anymore and make the most of it when we do. I have no idea what time we got home but when i woke up on Sunday i was greeted with a MASSIVE headache that didn't seem to really go away.

We had to be in Southbank at 5:15 for ROVE LIVE on Sunday night which wasn't as much of a mission as i thought it was going to be. The show was great but i don't think Chris and i managed to get our heads on TV. But that was alright by me because my head was looking a bit average. :)

Today I picked coby up from mum's house and after i dropped him off at creche i popped into frankston to get dress shopping. . . bad idea when you are still hungover and have eaten take away all weekend.Without any luck i stopped into paper doll to grab some new American crafts papers and ended up chatting to wendy for about 2 hours. Love the scrap therapy. THANKS WENDY. MWAH

Friday 7th september FAVORITES: i NEED to have my watch on all of the time. I bought this about 4 months ago and i love it.

saturday 8th september: FAVORITES where do i begin catching up with friend and oh yeah Baby O he is just so cute.

sunday 9th september FAVORITES: I love my cordless phone it is just the most handyest thing ever please everyone take a moment to truly apreciate your cordless phone they allow us mothers to do so much more multi tasking.

monday 10th september : yes here is the new elsie jack and abby papers i took some shots of my house so i can scrap within the theme of the papers.

wednesday 12th september: 2 shots for today the first is of my bling ring. i bought it with some cash that was given to me when my grandma passed away i just love love love it.

The next is my heart ring that was bought for me by my aunty soo on my christening and the star diamond band i bough myself a few years ago. i have many more rings but these are my favorites.

Thursday 13th september

I had Pippa spayed today she is so miserable and is very wobbly on her feet. It is so sad watching her just sit there she is even too scared to wag her tail. (by today saturday pippa is a bit better she is up more and is waging her tail again. she even barked a a dog on TV.)

Friday 14th September
I have had 3 days of work today FAVORITE? well it would have to represent the money in my bank account and feeling useful. i hate not having work but i have accepted a position at a child care centre 3 days a week pending a spot for coby in his day care on a friday afternoon...i hope theres a spot for him. I am looking forward to having a stable income and knowing that i will have work but the child care centre wouldn't be my first choice to work it is way too big. But is only up until the end of the year and hopefully something will come up after then.

Wednesday was mine and chris' 4 year anniversary.

We went out for dinner to SOY in mornington it was awesome a great location for a really nice chinese dinner great atmosphere and food an service.

I also won a RAK from VITA. YAY

It is part of the PAY IT FORWARD 'RAK' and all you have to do is randomly select 3 people to RAK a handmade gift to and then they have to choose 3 people to RAK a hand made gift to.

The rules: OK im going to make it a little more interesting, i will choose winners based on them providing we thin their top 5 favorite movies in the comment's section of my blog. i love my explorers they were my grandmas and i borrowed them from her she used to say i only visited her when i wanted something :) and in this case she would have helped make my feet warm.....oh i miss her more and more every day 2 and a half years you would think it would be easire but i have to say it gets harder.

My favorite eye shadow it has been discontinued and i had to try a new one would you believe that is have taken me 3 attempts at buying a new one to find a new eyeshadow that is even close!

It was my uncles funeral today:(

He has been living at my mum's house in the granny flat that belonged to my grandma since july last year. he had throat and lung cancer and then cancer in his lower back. It was a nice service.

This morning i layed in bed with coby and PIP another of my favorite things to do. we just lay and chat it is pretty cool. Coby is pretending to be asleep.

THURSDAY

i had my eyebrows waxed today!!!!!!! it has been a while i have been really slack and today i realised how little effort it really takes to get them done. I have really bushy dark eyebrows and they have long hair. THERE ARE NO FAVORITES HERE!

OUR WEEKEND AWAY

Hay there sorry is has taken so long. We had an awesome weekend in marysville here are some photos.

I always manage to have some body part near Chris. i just love him FRIDAYS 365 DAY SHOT! After kicking back on the couch for a bit coby and i went to have a look around the unit. I just couldn't resist getting a shot of this double rainbow. can you see coby pointing to it?And here is a shot of coby trying to pose 4 the camera.Coby Loved the SpaFirst thing on sat morning we went to Stevensons falls where we decided to take the 20 minute walk to the top of the waterfall. Coby did really well he set the pace for chris and i. i really glad we decided to take the walk up because the view from the top was awesome. Here is SATURDAYS 365 day shot coby is an absolute clown it is impossible to get a nice shot with him when he is in one of his funny moods.This is chris and coby when we began walking from the car park up the first track. love this shot.
We then decided to ask in one of the ski hire shops about the snow conditions. They said they had managed to make some fake snow over night but you would have to walk for 1kn to see a small area. so we decided to go for it. On the walk up coby found a small lump of ice and began a 'snow ball' fight with chris.This lasted for about 5 minutes untill..........................................Coby was in tears. IT ALWAYS ENDS IN TEARS!
But it didn't take him long to perk up as soon as he saw the 'Snow' he just ran. can you see the snow there in the distance. :) Yes that's it!We managed to make a snow man though so coby was happy.After the snow we drove back to marysville and went fishing at the trout farm. Coby had a ball chris had fun and i was impatient! chris wanted to send me to the car! We ended up catching 3 trout which we had to take home because you weren't aloud to throw them back! We had such a great day but we were all exhausted. So saturday night we decided to have t at the unit. we ordered fish and chips and watched TV.

Sunday morning we went out for breakfast and then had another look around town before heading home.
Here is sundays 365DAY SHOT. im rarely the 'passenger' in my car i prefer to drive but i will admit chris is the more sensible driver so he drove almost all weekend.

I have scrapped my 365 day shots onto index cards so i can keep them all together. Here are the first few i have manage to do.

THURSDAY
QUIRKS. I have no patience for technology especially with new technology. No a computer isn't new technology for me but this one is. I swapped my lap top for chris' sisters computer and it has been a mission sorting it out and getting all of the settings how i like them.

FRIDAY?????????????
SATURDAY
Im getting cobys cold and mot looking forward to it. QUIRKS! i don't cope well with being sick. From working in child care or 8 years i rarely get sick so having a cold really annoys me i feel useless and sorry for myself. I hate not being productive.

SUNDAY
QUIRKS whenever chris and i drive anywhere either of us have our hand on the drivers leg. I think its a comfort thing. I love the fact that there are still public displays of affection after nearly 4 years. LOVE HIM LOTS

MONDAY

QUIRK? I have been having my hair cut by the same person since i left high school but she has moved to QLD. I got my hair cut on saturday. It looks ok but i gave the hairdresser hell.

TUESDAY

NO QUIRK HERE i just feel like crap. called in sick form work and just wanna couch all day

WEDNESDAY

QUIRK! i always wear eye make up. it is especially difficult this time of year because i get eczema on my right eyelid.

THURSDAY

QUIRK. I don't bite my nails but i can't handle having scratchy bits of nail hanging. I used to have acrylic nails for 5 years and i want them back but my nails are in the best condition that have ever been so i will just leave them.CRAP PHOTO I KNOW

Ok this isn't going to be a detailed post because i have to go finish packing for our weekend away and chris just rang and informed me that his boss is coming around for pizza for t and it is 8:30 and i have my pyjamas on. better go and change!

I had my first play with my new camera yesterday. Pippa was the only one home so she was my test subject. i have never been able to get a decent shot of her with my old camera. im loving this shot. can't wait to scrap it. im imagining a crown on her head what do you think?

I had a ball on the weekend at the retreat. deb and sally did a fantastic job and the venue was awesome. EVERYTHING was under the one roof, crop room, shop, kitchen, all bedrooms and bathrooms. There was and en suite for every 2 bedrooms yes NOT camp style cubicle showers and the food was great 3 hot meals a day and morning t and supper.

i managed to scrap 7 Lo and 7 cards. im getting into the habit of using the leftover scraps from my lo to create cards. I have never enjoyed creating cards but it was fun.

here are all of my cards, i planned ahead, owens 1st birthday card and xaviers 2nd birthday cards are all done.

I was lucky enough to print lots of photo's from owens shoot with katie toland so i had lots of awesome photos to scrap. it made it much easier to choose photos and get inspired.

hello everyone.
i would like to say sorry for not posting sooner i have been flat out.
i will post all my 365 day photos so strap yourself in.

the first photo is from friday the 10th august. on my way to take pippa for a hair cut at groomingdales.

SATURDAY the next photo is of me in my office/scrap room. SUNDAY. sitting in my scrap room again, this pose wives me minimal chins:)
MONDAY I love wearing earings and i have a few favorites that i wear all of the time. i wear gold jewellery excapt my pandora bracelet. i don't like wearing true gold earings everyday, gotta wear something funky.
The next one TUESDAY my flat pointy shoes. there are the comfyest shows i own. i love pointy shoes but hate wearing heels i have broad flat feet so it is hard buying comfy shoes.
WEDNESDAY- Here is my latest hand bag. it is a bit casual compared to my others and i honestly don't think i will e using it for very long. i have a hard jog finding bags i like that don't cost a fortune.
THURSDAY-i always seem to walk around with my sunnies on my head and forget about them. ill often put my PJ's on of a night and realise my sunnies are still on my head.

FRIDAY- I have a new fridge. its a 385 litre upside down fridge and i love it. i also bought my self something new when i bought my fridge. (see mondays photo)

SUNDAY-this is the mini tote i won in a raffle on the weekend. i recently sold my reguar size tote because it was too big this one is better though holds just enough tools and pens and adhesives, punches and my ruler.

^ SATURDAY NIGHT: card night at mum's house it's becoming a bit of a tradition, we play phase 10 a really fun game. i usually score untill i have had too much wine and then i loose the very minor maths skills that i have. the most sober person usually wins because the drunk people can't pay any attention to the other peoples strategy. Im pretty good at shuffling.

^ SUNDAY: people usually comment on my eye colour it is really dark blue on the outside and hazel on the inside. Coby looks like he is going to have the same

^ MONDAY this is my 'C' charm chris got me 2 christmasses ago. the letter C is important to me it stands for christie/chris/coby. Als my heart necklace you cant see it too well here only 1/2 of it but i feel lost when im not wearing it. It was my grandmas and if i have a moment of weakness i find myself hoding onto it.

^ TUESDAY this is me on my slOOOOw lap top. i spend way too much time in front of here blog stalking and just surfing the net.

Yes i know i know im a slack blogger, my lap top is shitting me at the moment and we are waiting for chris dad to come install a new computer.

i had the hardest time scanning it in so i had to photogragh it so forgive me for the poor shot. i just love the elsie riley papers the rubbons are soo easy to apply, especially for mr who is so crap at applying them :)

Wendy has asked me to run a series of monthly 'freestyle classes' . They will all be held on a thursday night. My scrapping style at the moment is very freeestyle which to me means no rules and loads of out of the square thinking. There will be minimum ruling, lots of freehand cutting, hand sewing and using of felt. Oh and i forgot to mention there will almost always be some form of doodling. I am very flexible in my classes and i am happy for you to embrace your own creativivty and make alterations to your Lo.So make sure if you are interested that you book in. It will be heaps of fun and i welcome suggestions for up coming classes.

im doing heaps of layouts for nic and dan at the moment i am desperately trying to scrap heaps of lo to create an album for owen's first birthday.

here is a Lo i did for nicola of little O he is sooo cute.

hay there everyone. hope you all had a great weekend. Mine has been nicely busy.

saturday i had to go into frankston and had to do a few things and then i popped into see wendy at paperdoll then i went to see the new arty pants store in cranbourne and popped into connie. the shop is looking awesome. Then i came home and waited for coby to come home. he had been rollerskating with this granddad and i getting very good at it apparently. then i had to take coby to my mum's house because they had arranged for coby to stay there.

Coby is a very busy boy at the moment he has not had a Saturday night at home since two weeks before the last public holiday which was in may! between spending every second saturday nigh with his dad then every other saturday with his granddad i usually get to spend every second sunday with him. he is really enjoying spending time with his granddad and also his dad which makes things easier. So having every sat night to myself is usually pretty good but chris and i run out of things to do and $ so we usually just see a movie or hand out at home which is great. im pretty lucky i have to admit.

Last nigh chris and i caught up with a few of chris' mated in patterson lakes at the cove. We had intended to just have a bar meal and a few drinks but ended up really drunk which was fun. chris and i don't usually go out and drink together that often as he really annoys me when he is drinking and we usually end up having an argument so i just find it easier to stay away form the situation! but we had a ball. chris was going to drive so i was drinking then he got talked into having a few drinks, so by that time i was drunk enough for him not to annoy me. . . . yes i was the annoying one. My voice tends to go a but high when i drink.

so the night was really good and if felt good making a spontaneous decision. My cousin came and picked us up at 12 and then i came home and went to bed but i obviously wasn't ready to go to bed because i ended up spinning and having to do a bolt to the toilet :( so today i have felt very ordinary and had to pull myself out of bed because chris and i had promised to take coby to see the simpsons movie, it was really good and coby enjoyed it too :).

ok here are the lo i said i would share. the first one is with the love elsie riley papers. im having lots of fun with the elsie papers atm.

she wasn't too happy about wearing the birthday hat i made her. I have never been a dog person but i love her so much. it is so great to see her when i come through the door every day she is so sweet and such a lap dog all she ever wants is to sit and have a hug. Do you like her jumper.

It is such a great kit to work with the first Lo only took me an hour to do and the other would have been just a quick if i wasn't at a crop and chatting and drinking wine as much as i was :)

Coby has been coming out with the funniest things lately but i always forget to post them.

I always stress to coby about various safety issues. There was a stage there where coby was going out the front of the house on his own so he could climb the tree on the neighbours nature strip. This wouldn't be a huge deal to some of you but we live in an 'undesirable' area and i would prefer coby to spend his time outdoors in the back yard. So coby and i had the discussion about strangers and how we never know who the friendly people are and who the nasty people are and that grownups have had lots of practice telling the difference so they need to be with you to look after you. We also spoke about how some dogs might be mean and also that some silly people drive fast and unsafe so we need to stay away from the road unless you are holding a grownups hand.

Well we were pulling out of our street on tuesday afternoon ad there was a young girl who looked to be about 10 was walking to school. Coby shouted form the back seat 'Look mummy that girl has no mum that's not safe'. so i just used the opportunity to talk about the safety again and that was that. Then we were in bakers delight on wednesday afternoon and there was a girl about 12 in the shop on her own and coby once again was mortified, 'that girl has no mum mummy' the young girl and the shop attendant had a bit of a laugh and then we were on our way.
Coby is also very quick to address people who don't have helmets when riding their bike, people who speak any other language than english which he very embarrassingly imitates and this is usually in very public places (public transport was the last occasion) and also big dogs. 'wow mummy that dog will do really big poo's'.

I have also been trying to explain the difference between crying and whinging. We were in the supermarket and there was a toddler clearly tired and upset but not misbehaving. Coby shouted 'mum that boy is being naughty hes winging and santa doesn't like wingers'. the hole santa doesn't like wingers was my attempt at getting coby to ask nicely for things and not constantly wine around christmas time last year. i swear he uses everything against me.

He has also just worked out swearing and the way we got around this one was to talk about the difference between grown up words and every other word. My sister explained that 'when he has boobs like her he could say grownup words' !!!!!!!!!! I just told him that when he can drive he can say whatever he likes. This also applies to cans on V (yest the energy drink his grandad bought for him 3 weeks ago:( ) and beer and wine! he seems to be grasping the concept pretty well.
sorry guys i hope im not boring you.

Mich tagged me for 7 random facts about me so here goes...

1) I am always cold so im am not coping at all with this weather. Coby was born cold....he needed to have a heater above his little bed after he was born hope he is not like me.

2)The only place out of victoria i have been is tasmania for 5 days on school camp in year 10.pretty sad i know!

3)I lived 5 houses down the road from chris without knowing he existed for 7 years.

4)I didn't get my licence until i was almost 22. I was in a serious accident when i was 16 and it made me very nervous passenger. i am more comfortable driving than being a passenger. Maybe the next random fact has a bit to do with this too!

5)I don't like to try new things. As a child i was never really encouraged to try new activities so this is something i rarely do, i am almost always in my comfort zone.

6)Coby's dad and i were never really together we were mates who slept together for 3 years then coby came along. although i was far from promiscuous i was asked to have a DNA test when coby was 3 days old, which turns out to the the best $800 anyone could have ever spent.

7)At the moment i am very unhappy with where my career/working life is headed, i don't feel challenged and i don't feel i am making a difference.

im struggling with my 365 day photo challenge a little, im still enjoying it but need ideas. Here are monday, tuesday, wednesdays and thursdays photos (i must go back and count what number day i am up to.

mondays photo....i remembered just before bed so this was the best anyone was gunna get!:)

Tuesdays photo was a mission. i was in a real shitty mood so after trying to get a half decent photo of myself i eventually gave up. hense the hand over the face.
wednesdays photo is with my warm jacket on. the cold weather really gets to me. see my random facts listed below.

here is todays photo pippa wasn't totaly enthusiastic about posing for the camera.(all the above photos were taken in my kitchen which is funny because i started taking the photos in my scrap room when the challenge begun.

well i have been scrapping today i did a Lo with my new fireside crafts kit in an hour that is awesome for me. this kit has to be by far the best kit yet great for scrapping those summer photos we all still have lying around. The thing that is different about the fireside crafts kits are they never contain all pink products which unfortunately most of the kit company's do. so for all of you out there interested in purchasing a kit that isn't all PINK then be sure to keep posted for when the kit is published.

here is fridays photo. i have always driven one handed mum hates it but it's just the way i drive.

On saturday wedecided to pick up chris' dog from his mum and dad's house so he could come and have a play with pippa.

So here is pippa looking up at the camera she is just so sweet. she loved playing with deegan who is about 4 times the size of her and 4 times as dumb. He got a little bit annoyed when we would sniff her and there were a couple of times that he got over excited and stood on her. Degan also cocked his leg on me when i was trying to get some photo's of pip until chris yelled and he quickly put his leg down......lucky. pretty funny though.
i have to admit degan is easier to take photo's of than pip is.

The girls night out so saturday night went really well. here is me with mel who is going to greese for well, we don't exactly know, she has a one way ticket and doesn't plan to be home for a few years. This is me with mel and this is my saturday photo. I was a bit drunk!
The night was awesome with everyone attending. We went to taco bills for dinner and many many drinks and then to the bay in mornington and then to the cruze club in mornington which i have a very vague recollection of. :) We left at about 1:30 because (quoting sarah and nic) "we were the oldest chicks in the joint!"

We all went to school together from year seven besides kellie who came at year 12 and fitted in because we all were in love at some point with her brother and michelle who is ronelles little sister. It was such a good night what i remember anyway. Sunday morning was a different story, woke up feeling crap so chris took coby to do work stuff and i slept till 1:30. HE IS THE BEST.

Here is sunday's photo, i was feeling better by the afternoon.

It was chris' birthday on monday the big 25 so we celebrated with some ice cream cake and taco's for tea. a nice quiet night.

Well i better go Chris just arrived home and he is taking me out to a secret location for dinner. I hate secrets but im coping knowing there will be some yummy food at the end.

also on an exciting note jody and i went and picked up our new fireside crafts kits today so i will be 'igniting my creativity' all weekend.

Do you like my tea cup.
It looks awesome on my desk and holds all of my most recently purchased supplies.
My sister bought it for me for my birthday.
i also covered my craft wood draws the other night and im happy with tha paper i chose. they go with the green and pink theme of the room i just need to give the ourside a coat of paint.

I am in the middle of going through my scrap room and sorting it out, re-organising and kulling a lot of supplies that i have been hanging onto.

This is my mum and i a pretty rare photo because my mum never volunteers for a photo.
I love hanging out with my mum we plan to do nothing usually go for a quick shopping trip and shop for the best part of the day and then we are totally exhausted by the end of the day.
Its so great that she is well now. She is trying to grow her hair back to the length it was. i like it short it was even better when it was really short, when she was having chemo and had no hair she looked so cool with the most perfect shaped head ever.

And this blurry one. This was me with (left to right) Nicola, Sarah, ronelle and Kellie. Bianca was taking the photo.

There are better ones but they are on ronelle camera so i will change the pic soon. sorry for the bad shot kellie.:)

and today's shot is of the earings kellie bought me for my birthday which she has kindly offered to wear out for me when w go out on Saturday night.

it was great to catch up with the girls last night it has to be one of my favorite things to do.

i took my nephew Matty to the movies to see transformers today and i think i enjoyed it more than him. IT WAS AWESOME. the special effects were amazing and the story lines were great. The transformers looked so great that you forgot they were computer animated. It is definitely one worth seeing on the BIG screen.

Coby was talking to me last night about having mashed potato balls and and you have to put it on your fingers and move them then you flick it up into the air and catch it in your mouth.
KFC mashies! it was so cute so tonight i let him try some. We got to mum's house and he kept trying to balance the mashie on his fingers and flick it into his tub of gravy. It was so funny to watch.

Coby is really missing chris he asks every night when will he be home and is so disappointed when i say not tonight. the consolation (s?) is that his job is to keep me warm in my bed untill chris comes home and it is so cool having him sleep one side and pippa the other side they both snuggle right in and keep me warm. i also have my stand in husband.........hot water bottle:) that does a good job too just need it to vacuum, do the dishes and put the washing away and i will be right :) chris might have to go back to bulla next week but at the moment im fine with it all might have something to do with the weekend away Chris' boss is paying for for the 3 of us.

hay there it's my birthday and guess what i am doing it's 5:30 pm and i am drinking wine in front of the laptop and i love it. Coby is at his dad's house and im waiting to be picked up for dinner with the girls YAY.

<<<<<<<<>I have had a great day coby has had my pressies hidden since monday night and didn't even spoil the surprise. I got 2 pandora beads from chris and coby ,(a giraffe and my birth symbol) and 3 off my mum (2 small spacers and a pink CZ bead) LOVE LOVE pandora.

I also kept coby home from creche today because he was so excited and went and had lunch with nicola and little owen at the grand hotel in mornington, it was so nice.

I also saw connie, katie and deb fuller in mornington which was nice to say hi.

This was coby on friday afternoon after leaving Ikea. No it wasn't my shopping that wore him out it was going to see 'Finding Nemo On Ice'.We had a ball.I just love taking him to these shows and just out to no where in particular.

He is just so well behaved when it is one on one and never really misbehaves or cracks the sh*#s when i won't buy him another truck to add to his collection of 100.000 already 'parked' on my lounge room floor. He thoroughly enjoyed the show and it was very entertaining and included almost all of the scenes form the movie. The way they transformed the arena from the ocean to the fish tank was also very clever. I would highly recommend seeing it to anyone.

After the show we popped into ikea quickly to grab a globe for the lamp i bought coby 6 months ago because i didn't get one when i originally bought it...sigh. On the way home coby looked so tired and the traffic was horrendous because of the rain so i turned to him and said, 'you can close your eyes and have a sleep if you like mate' and he replied 'OK mummy' and with that he was out like a light untill we got home and parked the car in the drive way.

He is just over needing his lunchtime sleeps on alternative days but he still has one after we go on long drives or do anything that burns out all of his energy.

Coby actually co-operated when posing for the Thursday night which was good for a photo opportunity. the below photo was taken when i was driving home from the city yesterday. I had just spoken to Chris who was in Mount Bulla and he informed me that he has to go back again on Tuesday because they just couldn't get the job finished. :) Yes i am crying.
Chris has been away every second week for about 2 months now and i am really ready to have him home with me. Im missing him sooo much that it really has ruined this weekend together because i know after we go to bed Monday night i won't see him again till next Friday and that he won't be home to celebrate my birthday with me on Wednesday. His boss actually called me yesterday morning and apologised and explained that chris is the only one who knows the job and that his hands are tied. which i totally understand. He also explained to me that chris has been nominated 'Employee of the month' and for this occasion and also because it is his birthday on the 16th, he wants me to organise a night away for the 2 of us and that he will pay for it.

It was a lovely gesture and i truly appreciate it but i would prefer to have him home.

So saturday chris worked in the city and when he came home we went out for 4 and to see 'knocked up' it was such a great well balanced movie it had really funny parts and aslo some moderately serious parts. after the movie chris and i went and had a coupe of drinks at a friends house then came home to bed, chris is still not 100% after his cold last week and still really tired. We had a small sleep in this morning because coby is at his dads house and won 't be home untill about 5.3opm. it has been great to have that time together.

I'm trying to be really positive at the moment but it doesn't help that i am over emotional.

love love love this movie epecially this part. Jack black is so funny especially his facial expressions. When chris and i saw this movie at the cinema i think my laughing was annoying everyone.
OK WARNING........there is some swearing in this a few 'f's and a c@#k (the word) but if you love jack black and his humor and his songs you will love this. Hope no one is slightly offended.....i did warn you. ENJOY

Well today i didn't have any work so i sat by the heater and played with my felt.

I really enjoyed making them and they took approx 25 mins each perfect thing to do when watching TV.

I LOVE ELSIE

I really enjoyed creating this LO and can you see i used my DAY 2 photo for the LO. Inspired already lol.

The topic of getting married is one that Chris and i are finding ourselves talking about more often at the moment so this Lo is based on the fact that my diamond will be on my finger 'one day' and that it is more a matter of when than if. It was so easy to scrap with the Love Elsie papers and for the whole Lo i didn't measure of rule a thing all cut by eye this is the way i like to scrap at the moment. Freestyle. well my version of freestyle anyway. I also hand drew the title with a permanent marker onto PP and then cut around it. Pretty good for someone who never hand journals.

Here are my photos from the weekend.
the first one (Wednesday)is of Chris and i. He took some convincing to pose for me but in the end he new what was best...............just pose so i stop nagging him.

Chris is away untill Friday night which is crap i miss him already. I'm sure i will be fine.
I left him a little love note in his shoe in his bag and he must have just found it and messaged me. He is such an awesome person i am so lucky to have him.

I have some Lo to share but i was just looking at one where i have created a felt (owl so cute) but i wanna change it a bit before i share it. I have also been playing with the Love Elsie papers and i am so inspired. hopefully ill share the lo tomorrow if i finish it tonight.I have crap lighting in my scrap room.

I also did the test on Chris to find out the name for a special part of his body..............He will now be referred to as The BIG Legowsky :)

hay ladies
I have been looking to buy the 52 scrapbooking challenges book for a while now but i can't quite justify spending the $50 + australian to buy it. My birthady is in 2 week's and i was going to spoil myself but spending that much on a book is an unreaalistic purchase atm. Is there anyone out there who would like to sell a second hand copy or know where to buy one that is cheaper than that.
